Life guarding at Ramla Bay Gozo

The Malta Red Cross Gozo Branch water rescue unit,is providing lifeguarding services at Ramla Bay Gozo. This service is being done daily from 10am till 18.00 hours. The service is being run as per international standards.
The Malta Red Cross water rescue unit is run by a master instructor and instructors all certified to international levels; besides having full recognition by the Italian Red Cross. Plans exits to further increase the capacity of the unit by putting into service another hydro ambulance in the coming month.
Anyone can join the Red Cross and become a lifeguard. The project at Ramla is being run in close collaboration with the Xaghra Local Council, Malta Tourist Authority, the Gaia Foundation and the Ministry for Gozo.
